GRADEMARK REPORT
GENERAL COMMENTS
Instructor
The research project brief specified that the
question must focus on an issue in an individual
organisation , not a sector , as you have
undertaken.
This severely reduces your marks in context – be
very careful to read ‘briefs’ in depth moving
forward.
The introduction, context, findings and analysis
were well chosen and reasonably comprehensive,
but unfocused, as not applied to an organisation.
The primary analysis , a good choice, was not
focused upon an organisation. The sample was
unrepresentative in this case.
The research methodology requires more depth
and clarification.
The bibliography needs to be presented according
to Harvard Referencing.
The presentation was satisfactory- diagrams and
charts add value.
A competitor analysis could not be undertaken.
Work to be undertaken:
– revisit the guidance on reading project briefs.
– revisit the philosophy and design of research
methodology within the literature.
– recreate an appropriately focused research
question.
